Lucca Portella is a former Brazilian National Team judoka with a distinguished competitive background and a strong foundation in discipline and high-performance sport. He earned his black belt under renowned coaches Flávio Canto and Geraldo Bernardes, shaping his technical and competitive excellence, becoming a Ne-waza expert.

After relocating from Brazil, Lucca is now focused on earning a spot on the United States National Judo Team, with the goal of representing the USA at the highest international level. Guided by a discipline-centered philosophy, Lucca believes judo is more than a sport — it is a path to becoming a better human being, fostering respect, resilience, and the strength to protect ourselves and the ones we love.
