Judo Black Belt

I began my judo journey at the age of 14, and I consider myself living proof that with discipline and hard work, it is possible to achieve your goals. Throughout my competitive career, I became a national champion and consistently ranked among the top three in my division. Now, as a veteran competitor (30+), I continue to actively compete at a high level. I am also a five-time consecutive gold medalist at the U.S. Open Judo Championships. In Ecuador, I founded and led my own Judo Academy, where I developed athletes and built a strong competitive program. With over 10 years of coaching experience, I have trained national champions, as well as Pan American and South American medalists. However, beyond medals and titles, my greatest achievement is the impact I leave through my work—helping shape not only successful athletes but also strong, respectful individuals guided by the values and philosophy of judo. Now, with the experience and knowledge I have gained, my goal is to continue supporting and developing the judo project at CSA. I strive to build athletes who are not only champions and strong competitors, but above all, good human beings. Individuals who embody and replicate the core values of judo: honesty, humility, respect, partnership, and confidence.
Jita Kyoei all the way.
